Dr. Serge Geara

Neurologist

Dr Geara is a recently qualified Neurologist. He has completed a fellowship in Motor Neuron Disease and Neurodegenerative Diseases including Parkinsons Disease. He completed his training at Blacktown and Gosford Hospitals. He has an interest in Neuroimmunology with a focus of MOG antibody spectrum disorders. He is completing his masters by Research looking at MOG antibodies in Uveitis. He is the recipient of the Mitochondrial Disease Fellowship Grant for the year of 2024.

Dr Geara enjoys staying active with sports such as basketball. He also enjoys Jazz and Classical Music. He is also an avid language learner and enjoys learning new types of languages. He believes in lifelong teaching and learning and enjoys attending conferences as a main source of travel.
